*************FLU VACCINATIONS NOW AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING (for eligible patients)********

In April, May& Jun 2018- 556 appointments were not attended. This is 92 hours of 10 min appointments. There is high pressure for appointments and this is one of the causes as the non attender then rebooks. Please ensure you let the surgery know if you cannot attend so that another patient can use the appointment.

The surgery will be closed on Thursday 19th July 2018 between 12.30pm and 4.00 pm due to staff training. Phone lines will also be closed.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 


New General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into effect on Friday 25th May 2018- please see the new section on our website for information on our privacy notices which will give you more information on what we do with your data. Paper copies are available in the surgery if you wish to browse through these when you attend.

PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION IN GOOD TIME . ALLOW  48 HOURS/2 WORKING DAYS BEFORE COLLECTION (Electronic prescriptions only)) Paper prescriptions will take 3- 4 days. If you are using paper prescriptions, please consider signing up for the electronic service.


Book your appointments online using Patient Access. Simply click on appointments and follow the link. Once registered for this service you can also order repeat medication, view and print a list of your repeat medicines, appliances, allergies or adverse reactions.

Evening Surgery -  We are open for  evening appointments every Wednesday until 8pm (Appointments for this clinic must be booked in advance)

 

All patients are allocated a named GP on registering at the practice, if you do not know who your named GP is please ask when next contacting the practice. This does not exclude you from seeing any GP of your choice.

Guidance for Patient Access – Internet Booking

To register:

You need to come in to register for this service ask  to register for Appointments Online. Be prepared to give some information that will identify you, e.g. last medication or postcode & telephone number. You will be given a unique username and password.

On your computer, using your internet browser and the URL provided  below,  go to the online access website and follow the book appointment link once you have logged in.

Using the username and password with which you have been provided.

You can now start using Appointments Online!

Once logged in, you can book, view and cancel appointments.

When you book an appointment this way, you will receive confirmation immediately. There is no need to confirm it by phone or email – just make sure that you arrive promptly on the day!

Before you begin to use Patient Access we would appreciate it if you could read the following guidance regarding the booking of appointments over the internet.

Appointments

This facility is for booking 10 minute doctor appointments only. Due to the nature of nurse appointments we are unable to offer them online.  Please ensure that you book your doctor appointments appropriately.

Please do not book appointments for the following: Nursing, Cervical smear, Cryotherapy, Minor Surgery, Medicals, Immunisation & Vaccinations, Post Natal or Ante Natal check up including 6 week mum and baby check, Coil fitting, Implants or Injections. If you are unsure do not book on line please contact us by telephone on 01483 573194.

Missed Appointments

Please let us know if you will be unable to attend an appointment that you have booked.  Either contact us by telephone to cancel or cancel it online.  This will allow us to offer the appointment to another patient. 

Repeat Prescriptions

Patient Access will give you a facility to send requests for REPEAT medication to the surgery.  We will still require 48 working hours to process requests.  You can monitor the progress of your request via Patient Access homepage.

Patient Access now gives the facility to view and print a list of your repeat medicines or appliances and any recorded allergies or adverse reactions.

You’re Responsibility

The practice will take every measure to ensure that your Patient Access application is secure.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your Patient Access account remains secure.  You are able to terminate or reset your account any anytime by contacting the surgery in writing.  You may wish to do this is if you think someone else knows your logging in details or if you have shared details with a family member or partner and no longer wish them to know these details.

Please note the practice does not manage the Patient Access website and therefore cannot provide help with using the Patient Access.  Help screens are provided on the website.
