The easiest way for you to process a request for medication and for us to process it is via a request made via Patient Access (please see the link above - you will need to register for this service if you have not already done so) and for you to nominate a pharmacy to receive your prescriptions electronically (via EPS - the electronic prescription service). You can do this at your usual pharmacy.
If your doctor has decided you can have prescriptions on repeat this will be authorised without you having to be seen. These are computerised and full details will be given to patients as needed. We regret we cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions. You can however email your request to email@example.com.
PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION IN GOOD TIME
We aim to process prescriptions within two working days. The most efficient way for us to do this is via the electronic prescription service whereby your prescription is sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy. Don't forget your pharmacist will need time to make up the prescription once we have sent it.

Electronic repeat dispensing
If you or someone you care for uses the same medicines regularly, you may be able to benefit from electronic repeat prescriptions. This means you won't have to re-order or collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP practice every time you need more medicine.
